Also standard on the Laramie Longhorn®, Big Horn, Lone Star, Sport and Laramie®, the 5.7L HEMI V8 boasts up to 9,800 pounds of towing capacity+. But all that power won't go to waste. When the conditions are right, the 20 MPG engine becomes a fuel-sipping four-cylinder.

Whether you carry your weight in a trailer or your cargo box, Ram Heavy Duty masters towing and hauling. To help you carry the load, the enhanced 6.7L Cummins® High Output Turbo Diesel engine generates an unsurpassed 800 pound-feet of maximum torque+ and boosts maximum towing capacity to 22,750 pounds+. The Cummins High Output Turbo Diesel engine is available with an automatic transmission featuring electronic range select and tow / haul mode.

2012 Ram 2500 3500
Ram 2500 and 3500 are built with sturdy hydroformed frames (the stiffest in Ram truck history) and capable four-wheel drive options to handle the toughest jobsite terrain. To smooth out the ride, fluid-filled hydromounts on the cab help isolate the cabin from the road.
